A diverse and inclusive labour pool is an important component of future research, innovation, and development. The workshop “Catalysing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in STEM (science technology engineering and mathematics)” will provide a platform for the STEM community to discuss ideas and best practices for creating more diverse, equitable, and inclusive environments. This workshop will offer the academic, government, and industrial participants a forum to increase awareness of potential barriers to DEI, serve as a stepping stone towards a more inclusive and diverse STEM education, and gain the information needed to create more diverse, equitable, and inclusive environments in their workplaces.
