Science Diplomacy plays an indispensable role in making science a universal language for fostering sustainable international dialogue and global policy formulation for our sustainable future with common grounds and shared goals. Globally, less than 20 % of research findings get implemented and the missed Sustainable Development Goals targets are higher in global south than in global North. In Africa, the uptake of scientific research output is less than 14 %. Science Diplomacy also functions as a pivotal bridge linking scientific innovation with worldwide collaborative efforts.
