About the Project: The research aims at making a strong case on the role of tropical infectious diseases
including human infective viruses, bacteria and parasites as risk factors to some of cancers commonly
found within communities in the East Africa region. To achieve this, we have established a Cancer Care Research Center with Funding from the National Research Fund Kenya at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga
Teaching and Referral Hospital in the Lakeside City of Kisumu, Kenya.
