Maseno University School of Business and Economics organised a project launch for six students who won entrepreneurial grants from Fayetteville Technical Community College. The grants were awarded to six Maseno University students to eradicate global poverty in Kenya.

Each winner was granted $100  to eliminate global poverty in Kenya by establishing enterprises in the following ways: developing a vegetable farm, a green and baby vegetable farm, an aquaculture operation, a poultry project, a poultry farm, and a recycling business.
