Maseno University Hosts Senators Mohamed Faki and Issa Juma Boy

Maseno University welcomed distinguished guests from Mombasa and Kwale Counties today, as Senator Mohamed Faki of Mombasa and Senator Issa Juma Boy of Kwale visited the Campus. The Senators toured the University to witness the remarkable progress made under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Julius O. Nyabundi. During the visit, the Senators were impressed by several key developments, including the newly built Prof. Julius O. Nyabundi Hostel, designed to improve student accommodation, and the Prof. George Magoha Complex, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to advancing learning with large capacity lecture halls and four amphitheaters.
Prof. Julius O. Nyabundi highlighted new School of Law, with first cohort expected to graduate next year, further expanding its academic offerings, and highlighted its School of Medicine, which has recently been ranked as the best in the country. The Senators praised Maseno’s growth, particularly its commitment to providing diverse courses and producing graduates ready to contribute to a tech-driven job market. These developments reflect the University’s continued effort to provide quality education and contribute to Kenya’s future workforce.
