DR. Marcin Mikusek from The International University of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw, Poland Visiting Maseno University School of Business and Economics

On 11th March 2024, Dr. Marcin Mikusek of International University of Logistics and Transport (IULT) in Wroclaw, Poland, paid a courtesy call to Prof. Julius Nyabundi, the Vice Chancellor, Maseno University (MSU). The Vice Chancellor signed the Inter Institutional Agreement (IIA) based on the Erasmus + Mobility Exchange programme for students and staffs between the two institutions. Dr. Mikusek expressed need to work with MSU on future projects and collaborative activities as well as being the focal point for IULT in Kenya. It was agreed that the two institutions can jointly collaborate in future projects and programmes. Based on the exchange, Dr. Marcin taught four units (totaling 8 hours) in the BSc Supply Chain Management programme during his 10 day visit to Kenya and the University. Earlier in the day, Dr. Marcin held a consultative meeting with the School of Business and Economics, on possible collaborative research areas. Later in the year 2024, it is expected that two staff and two students will visit IULT in Poland for the reciprocal exchange.
