Master of Medicine Course in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Maseno University is accredited both by the Commission for University Education and the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council to offer a Master of Medicine Course in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This is a four-year full time residential course.


Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree or its equivalent from a recognised university.
• Must have completed at least one year of clinical practice post internship;
• Show evidence of registration, or eligibility to be licensed, by the Kenya Medical Practitioner’s and Dentists Council, (KMPDC), and be on the retention list for 2020.
• Provide a certificate of good conduct from the Medical Practitioners and Dentist Council or any equivalent authority from the country of origin if from outside Kenya.
• Show evidence of proficiency in use of English language.
• Maintain a valid professional indemnity cover of not less than KES 1,000,000 over the period of clinical training.


Shortlisted candidates shall be invited for an interview to attest their competency and professionalism.
