Maseno Don to represent East Africa in international workshop in Greece

The International Council for Science (regional office for Africa) has selected Ms. Eunice Toko Namuyenga (pictured), an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Technology of Maseno University to participate in an advanced workshop on Receptors and Cell Signaling in Spethes, Greece in June 2016.
Ms. Namuyenga will represent the East African sub-region in the international workshop which is co-sponsored by The International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB). She was selected through a competitive process that included candidates from other sub-regions of Africa.

Maseno University congratulates Ms. Namuyenga for the achievement. Professor Collins Ouma of the Directorate of Research and consultancy says that, it is a great opportunity that one from Maseno University can represent the East African sub-region in a high profile workshop. ‘Maseno University can do it now and will continue maintaining those strides towards excellence,’ he remarked.
